What Is the 21 Day Sugar Detox®?

The 21 Day Sugar Detox® program is a 3-week, real-food-based program that is designed to help you bust your sugar and carb cravings naturally. This is not a diet or extreme detox; nor will you be asked to purchased processed pre-made meals, shakes or powders. Since the majority of the program is focused on teaching you about eating real food, it will require you to spend time in the kitchen whipping up masterpieces to share with friends and family! Don't worry, we will also go over what foods to eat while dining out (as this is still OK), what to do if invited to parties, or what to do when someone brings donuts to the office! 

The 21 Day Sugar Detox® program is NOT a weight loss program, although some participants of the program have reported doing so. The program is designed to teach you new ways of eating through healthy recipes that are designed to help reduce inflammation, lose body fat, regulate blood sugar levels and create new habits. The health benefits achieved during this program will vary from person-to person. 

Is the 21 Day Sugar Detox® a "One Size Fits All" Program?

The 21 Day Sugar Detox® program has 3 different levels to choose from to cater to individual needs, from least restrictive to most restrictive depending on your individual goals. During the pre-detox phase, you will take a quiz to determine which level is right for you. Regardless of the quiz results, the program is flexible for you to choose the level that will create the most success for you. 

How Does the 21 Day Sugar Detox® Work?

There are several ways you can tackle your sugar or carb cravings on this program. There are three options to choose from depending on how much support you need. You can choose to go through the program all on your own by simply purchasing the Daily Guide or you can receive additional support by following the on-line program. If you are someone that needs extra support or encouragement, we have a wonderful and very effective group or individual coaching program. 

What Kinds of Food Will I Be Eating?

There are a variety of foods to choose from during the 21 Day Sugar Detox® program. Since you will be learning which foods combat sugar or carb cravings, you will spend a good amount of time learning how to meal prep and cook. The sample meals, along with the recipes are available in the Daily Guide. If you choose to make your own meals, that is OK, as long as it is on the "yes/no" list. If you choose to go through the program using a Certified 21 Day Sugar Detox Coach, she will be able to assist you in determining which foods are compliant for the program, especially those foods not on the compliant list. The 21 Day Sugar detox® is heavy on consuming animal proteins (Meat, Chicken, Seafood) and is limited or has no dairy or carbs (depending if you are completing levels 1, 2 or 3) so this program is not meant for those that are vegan or vegetarian. Since you will be eating real food, this detox is safe for women that are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as, those with diabetes or autoimmune issues. The meals are 100% gluten-free, soy-free.
