1 Large Head of Broccoli (Washed, then cut into florets)
2-3 Cloves of Garlic (Chopped as shown or smashed like a paste)
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Wash the broccoli, then cut into florets. Place them in boiling water, just until soft about 8 minutes. Just make sure they are not too soft as you do not want to lose the nutritional value. If you have an Instantpot, place them on top of the trivet, with one cup of water. Set the Instantpot to zero minutes on high pressure and do the manual release. They come out perfect at this setting! Once cooked, run it under cold water, then pat dry with a towel. Place in a bowl, then drizzle extra virgin olive oil, salt (if desired), and chopped garlic. Then mix, and serve as a side dish. This recipe goes well with grilled foods.
